Officially, you need to be a member of Starfleet in order to join the Alaric. We had considered offering a separate membership option for those beings who wanted to join the Alaric but have decided that it was not feasible at this time.

However, unofficially we're always glad to have people stop in and participate in club meetings whether they're a Starfleet member or not. And we think once you get to know us and see how much fun we have you'll eventually give in and enroll in Starfleet. To do that, just visit Starfleet's official web site (http://www.sfi.org) to download the application form and information. Once you're signed up with Starfleet and get your membership kit, all you need to do to be officially signed up as a member of the Alaric is to contact our Commodore Richard Heim. In fact you might want to go ahead and let him know as soon as you send in your application to Starfleet, just so he'll know to expect you and can start welcoming you to the club.
